JOIN US IN MARCH 21/22 2026 AT THE SECOND IRISH PILATES CONVENTION AT THE RADISSON BLU IN LIMERICK

Last year was beyond our wildest dreams and made me realise that the Pilates Community in Ireland is vibrant, strong and thriving. To see so many people rolling like a ball under the divine teaching of Brooke Siler was a beauty to behold - yes I have the bug baaad.

So with the spirit of last year in my head we set out trying to make this years Convention twice as good. Soooooo it seemed a natural progression to get 2 world class teachers and really pack in as much as we can in the day.

I am so pleased to announce the return of Brooke Siler - who is without doubt one of the best teachers on the planet - author of The Pilates Body and The Big Book of Pilates and creator of the tensatoner . And to join her will be Benjamin Degenhardt - who is also of huge world Pilates reknown he is the founder of 360pilates.com - you can visit his website here - I don’t know how I am going to wait til March…. We are going to use weights, towels and miniballs….

What I love about both these teachers is not just their expertise, passion and experience but the warm open style they both have. You can check out some of Brooke’s classes on Pilatesology and some of Benjamin’s on Pilates Anytime.

Our schedule will be as follows

10 to 11:30 am Brooke Siler - workshop with weights - 2lb weights and you are going to feel them big time. Please bring your own weights - I want to try and keep the carbon footprint of the event low. This class will have a reformer on the mat feel!

11:45 to 1:15 pm Benjamin Degenhardt - workshop with a towel! I can’t wait for this one - so bring a towel.

1:15 to 2:20 - Lunch, chats, vibes

2:20 to 3:50pm Brooke Siler - with miniball - please bring a miniball. This is going to give you a new perspective on the ball.

4:00 to 5:30 pm Benjamin Degenhardt - null props - This will finish the day off very nicely.

IRISH PILATES CONVENTION March 22/23rd 2025 WE DID IT

Calling all Pilates Addicts in the Republic and Northern Ireland

Whether you are a newbie to Pilates and you just can’t get enough of it or you are a seasoned practitioner or teacher we hope you will come to the second Irish Pilates Convention on March 21st/22nd 2026 at the Radisson Blu Limerick - the price for this is 225 euros plus vat for one day. There is an option to attend the Sunday as a teachers day see below the price for both is 550 euros plus vat 9%

We will have exhibitors - this is under discussion.

And on top of all that there will be a great lunch and opportunity to meet and mix with Pilates students and professionals from all counties in Ireland and Northern Ireland. We want this to be an all inclusive event with one powerful message - Pilates is for Everyone. And we fully intend to run this event every year to provide a great meaningful convention for students of pilates. If you have any ideas for us don’t hesitate to email me.

Between the workshops there will be an opportunity to see some of the lesser known equipment of the Pilates Method - A Spine Corrector, A Ladder Barrel, A Cadillac and a Wunda Chair - there will be demonstrations and the chance for some students to have a go. Plus think of the photo ops.

Myself - Suzie Dodd and Claire Halpin of Reformer Pilates Nenagh - are looking forward to meeting you in Limerick where we will hundred, roll down and swan ourselves silly for the day.

There is also the option as a Pilates Teacher to join us and our teacher The PilateScene in Galway for a Teachers Day on the Reformer/ Tower/ Chair - again we haven’t fully nailed this - click here for more details on this.
