Suzie – Owner & Lead Instructor
Hi, I'm Suzie. I've been teaching Pilates in Galway for over 20 years—long before reformer classes were trendy.
I love working with people who don't know where to start. My approach is rooted in classical Pilates but adapted for real bodies and real life. No trends, no extremes—just movement that works.
Tracy
Tracy started Pilates with me a decade ago and was my number one student. It was a no-brainer for her to become a teacher. Now she works full-time and teaches most of the classes at our Clarinbridge studio. Originally from Tyrone, Tracy is a mum to three big lads and two little doggies. She used to be a hairdresser, but she’s so popular now as a reformer teacher she no longer does hair -
She'll get you moving—and you'll enjoy every minute of it.
Kyle
Kyle is a fit, sporty guy who plays rugby league for Ireland. When he's not on the pitch, you'll find him in the gym or the reformer studio. He's picked up plenty of injuries from high-level rugby, and the reformer has been essential to keeping him in the game. Kyle has a real knack for teaching beginners and advanced students alike. He teaches general classes, early morning sessions, and our men's class on Wednesday nights. He does both studios.
Síle
Síle is a former nurse, full time mum of three, and seriously into cycling. She loves the detail, accuracy, and alignment of classical Pilates. She'll get you working hard, and you'll feel taller when you leave her class.
Tamara
Tamara is a beautiful soul from Tuam who trained with me at the Suzie Dodd Pilates Academy. I was so delighted when she joined the team—I'd always wanted to work with her. She teaches Reformer Pilates with a lovely, warm manner. She absolutely loves moving and it shows.
