INTUITIVE TEACHING FOR PILATES TEACHERS
A 3-Day Workshop for Pilates Teachers
Oct 9/10/11TH 2026| Galway, Ireland
By Marjon van Grunsven & Benjamin Degenhardt
Trust Your Intuition. Transform Your Teaching.
Intuition is the ability to understand something without the need for conscious reasoning. We all have it, and when it comes to teaching Pilates, it takes an important place in the teacher's toolbox.
Knowing when to stick to the curriculum—and when to stray from it—is what allows a teacher to fully be present with their students. But how and when can we trust our intuition? How can we reconcile our desire to teach "the method" with the occasional necessity to go "off-script"?
Intuitive Teaching is not your typical Pilates workshop. It's a safe space for Pilates teachers to turn inwards, synthesize all their skills, and develop a joyful, intuitive teaching style.
If you're looking to experience intuition from a place of confidence and creativity, we invite you to join us on this journey.
WHAT YOU'LL EXPLORE
Intuitive Teaching is a 3-day exploration into:
Understanding your essence as a person
Integrating your essence into your teaching
Discussing pedagogy—the art of teaching
Creating a session on the spot
Building trust and confidence in your intuition
This exploration continues well beyond the workshop itself. Participants receive follow-up materials and coaching opportunities, online and in person.

THE STORY BEHIND THE WORKSHOP
"How do we bring our authentic self into our teaching?"
This is the guiding question that brought Marjon and Benjamin together to develop this workshop. They met over 20 years ago as teacher and student, and have reconnected to bring their parallel experiences and shared thoughts about intuitive and authentic teaching to you.
There are those moments while working with a student where things suddenly click into place. You may have said something you've never said before, placed your hands differently, or approached the work with a new intention—and BOOM: magic happened.
What made you try a different approach? Were you even aware?
We believe it has something to do with being absolutely present, letting go, and allowing all the knowledge and experience you already possess to lead the way. You taught from a place of creativity and trust.
That's exactly what we're looking to explore throughout this workshop.
